Kathmandu, Silver prices surged to a new record high in the domestic market on Wednesday, reaching Rs 4,935 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The price rose by Rs 55 from Tuesday’s rate of Rs 4,880 per tola, surpassing the previous record of Rs 4,895 set on December 29, 2025.
Meanwhile, gold prices declined slightly, falling by Rs 400 per tola to Rs 267,700. Gold had last traded at Rs 268,100 per tola on Tuesday and had reached an all-time high of Rs 270,600 per tola on December 28, 2025.
