Kathmandu, Radha Matangi is a distinguished development leader with over 18 years of extensive experience in humanitarian response, entrepreneurship, agricultural development, and community empowerment at the national level. She is widely recognized for her strategic leadership, strong organizational capabilities, and result-oriented approach in designing and implementing impactful development programs. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to sustainable development, social inclusion, and the empowerment of marginalized and underserved populations across Nepal.

Since 2025, she has been serving as the President of Community Development Center Nepal (CDC Nepal), where she provides strategic leadership and institutional governance to advance the organization’s mission in community development, humanitarian assistance, and social transformation. In this role, she leads the design and implementation of programs focused on education, disaster response, youth empowerment, and community well-being.

She has been instrumental in strengthening partnerships with government agencies, security forces, and development stakeholders to enhance program efficiency and outreach. Under her leadership, CDC Nepal has successfully implemented multiple grassroots initiatives, including school bag distribution programs, disaster management material support in collaboration with the Armed Police Force, traffic awareness campaigns, and educational material distribution in both urban and remote regions such as Bajura.

From 2018 to 2025, Radha served as the Founder and Vice-President of Volunteer Corps Nepal (VCN), where she led national-level emergency response initiatives including rescue, relief distribution, and post-disaster rehabilitation programs. She played a key role in establishing and managing a nationwide volunteer network trained for rapid deployment in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Armed Police Force. Her leadership ensured effective disaster preparedness, coordinated response mechanisms, and strengthened collaboration with bilateral agencies, international organizations, and local governments. Additionally, she actively promoted livelihood and economic empowerment initiatives targeting women and youth through agriculture and entrepreneurship programs.

Alongside her development work, Radha is also a successful agricultural entrepreneur. As the Proprietor of Evergreen Flora and Agriculture Farm Pvt. Ltd. (2011–present), she manages large-scale commercial floriculture and vegetable production. She has expanded greenhouse operations to over 70,000 square meters, integrating modern agricultural technologies and efficient production systems. Her responsibilities include production planning, workforce management, market distribution, and supply chain optimization. Through her leadership, the enterprise has maintained high productivity, quality standards, and strong market competitiveness.

Her achievements include receiving the prestigious “Floriculture and Vegetable Queen” Award from the Embassy of Israel and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nepal. She has also trained over 1,000 farmers in commercial vegetable production with support from the Government of Nepal and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Her international exposure includes participation in the ASEAN Cooperative Business Forum in the Philippines and managerial capacity development training in India.
