Kathmandu, Sept. Bangladesh has expressed deep condolences and solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal over the loss of lives and extensive damage caused by the recent flash floods and landslides across the country.

In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Nepal, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, conveyed the deepest condolences and profound sympathies of the Government and people of Bangladesh to Nepal.

The ambassador also expressed heartfelt sympathy to the families who lost their loved ones and to all those affected by the disaster.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family members and communities facing the tragedy,” the message said.

Ambassador Rahman expressed Bangladesh’s solidarity with the Government and resilient people of Nepal during the difficult time and said Bangladesh stands ready to extend any assistance to the people of Nepal.
