KATHMANDU, Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has proposed dissolving the party’s current Central Committee and forming a preparatory committee under his leadership to organize a special party congress.
The proposal was tabled during the party’s 7th full Central Committee meeting held at Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi, on Thursday. According to Maoist leaders, Prachanda stressed the need for internal elections to be conducted on schedule while keeping focus on the upcoming national polls.
