KATHMANDU, Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reaffirmed that the government will take tough and uncompromising actions against corruption, stating that it will not hesitate to go to any extent to ensure good governance.

Speaking on the occasion of the 22nd International Anti-Corruption Day, PM Karki said the current government was formed on the foundation of the Gen Z movement, which demanded transparency and accountability.

She noted that although visible results may take time, state mechanisms have already become active to curb corruption. The Prime Minister also warned that the government would not be shaken by those who feel threatened by ongoing anti-corruption efforts.

PM Karki urged civil servants and concerned agencies to work fearlessly and independently, assuring full support to those upholding integrity and professionalism.
