Kathmandu, Residents of Melamchi have warned that they will completely shut the Melamchi water supply to Kathmandu if their demands are not met within 10 days. Flood victims and local stakeholders met Minister for Water Supply Madan Pariyar, complaining that past agreements have not been implemented. The minister has asked for 10 days’ time, assuring that efforts will be made to resolve the issues through coordination with all concerned parties.
