Milan Babu Malla, a distinguished business leader and committed social campaigner originally from Gorkha, has been elected as the District Governor-Elect of Lions Clubs International, District 325J Nepal, for the Lionistic year 2025–26. His election was officially announced during the District’s 3rd Convention, where members placed their trust in his vision and leadership, guided by the inspiring theme “Respect Each Other.”

Malla currently serves as Executive Director – Public Relations at MAW Group of Companies, where he has established himself as a dynamic professional who seamlessly bridges the worlds of industry, philanthropy, and social service. He is also a National Council Member at the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), contributing to the development of national business policies and advocating for a stronger and more competitive industrial sector in Nepal.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Malla has taken on several leadership responsibilities that demonstrate his diverse expertise and commitment to community development. As General Secretary of the Malla Foundation, he has been actively involved in initiatives focused on education, health, and social upliftment. His role as Treasurer of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal highlights his contribution to strengthening and modernizing the automobile sector, while his position as Advisor to the Federation of Heavy Equipment Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal reflects his engagement in the construction and equipment industry.

In addition, he serves as Chairman of Reliable Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd., a key enterprise in the heavy equipment field, and as an Executive Member of the Kumaripati Jawalakhel Byapar Sangh, where he supports local entrepreneurship and business growth.

His election as District Governor-Elect is widely recognized as a tribute to his seventeen years of dedicated service to Lionism. Colleagues within the Lions Club believe that his leadership will bring renewed energy to volunteerism and further strengthen community development projects across Nepal.

Born in Gorkha District and now based in Kathmandu, Malla represents a new generation of leaders who combine entrepreneurial drive with a profound sense of social responsibility.
