Sukanya Artre, widely admired as Khushi Karki , is a rising Nepali performer who is steadily gaining global recognition for her exceptional skill in dance and music. Born on April 22, 2004, in Thailand, she is just 21 years old yet already a powerful name in the world of performing arts.
Khushi first entered the Nepali music scene with her debut appearance in the popular hit “Chasma Lagauli”, which has surpassed 24 million views on YouTube. Since then, she has showcased her talent in several Nepali songs, including Harkat, Sindhuli ko Bato, Najar Laglani 2, Jala Joban, and Aakhai Rasiro. Expanding her artistic reach, she has also featured in Thai music productions such as Lipstick (Bib Bib Music), displaying her cross-cultural versatility.

Her breakthrough moment came in 2023 when she claimed the prestigious title of Mero Dance Universe, representing both Thailand and Myanmar. This victory placed her in the international spotlight, and she went on to earn recognition in the Guinness World Records for her performance at the world’s highest award ceremony and for her choreography.
Khushi’s unwavering commitment to spreading Nepali dance and culture globally has earned her multiple honors, including the Future Flame of Nepal Award by NRNA Cambodia, the Gorkha Glory Globally Award, and her appointment as a Young Peace Ambassador by the United Peace Keepers Federal Council. Additionally, she has been acknowledged as a People of Nepali Origin Ambassador for her cultural contributions.

Her international presence continues to grow, with notable performances in Seoul and Busan (2024), as well as at the SANGAM 10 Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Cambodia. She has also stepped into the role of mentor and evaluator, serving as a judge for dance competitions such as Nritya Mela 2024 in Kathmandu and the Mero Dance Universe Season 2 auditions in Thailand (2025).
Khushi has also been nominated for significant awards, including the Newlook B. Star Films Music Award 2023 and the Sagarmatha Music Award 2080.
