Her career spans diverse industries, where she has consistently demonstrated leadership, dedication, and a commitment to driving results. She is a dedicated entrepreneur and a staunch advocate for women’s empowerment, particularly focused on creating opportunities for underprivileged women.

Fluent in Japanese and with a background in nursing, Sunita’s journey from healthcare to business leadership is a testament to her adaptability and determination to make a difference.
Sunita began her professional career with her husband in Hokkaido, Japan, where she worked as a nurse from 2005 to 2006. This experience gave her deep insights into patient care and the importance of compassion, efficiency, and teamwork—skills that would later become invaluable in her business ventures.

In 2007, Sunita transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding and managing a successful restaurant chain, BISTARAI BISTARAI, in Hokkaido. For over 12 years, from 2007 to 2019, she skillfully handled the daily operations and management of several outlets across different locations. Her role encompassed full-scale management responsibilities, where she successfully led teams, managed finances, and ensured the smooth operation of her business.

Her leadership and keen business acumen helped her restaurant chain thrive in a competitive market.
In 2020, Sunita took on a new challenge by becoming the Director of Hokkaido Nepal Business Group Pvt. Ltd. (HNBG). Under her leadership, HNBG launched a chain of authentic Japanese restaurants in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing the rich flavors of Japan to a new audience. Alongside her work in the restaurant industry, she also became the Managing Director of Janeichi Business Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of HNBG.

This company specializes in the import and trading of high-quality products from Japan, including the renowned S. SELECT beauty, skincare, and healthcare line from SUGI Pharmacy. Sunita oversees the entire business operation for beauty care products under the Janeichi Care brand, handling product sourcing, distribution, marketing, and strategic planning.
In addition to her business ventures, Sunita has actively contributed to the Nepali community in Japan. From 2017 to 2019, she served as Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Committee in Hokkaido, Japan.

In this role, she supported the Nepali diaspora and helped strengthen ties between Nepal and Japan through cultural and business initiatives.
Sunita holds a Diploma in Nursing, a background that continues to influence her compassionate approach to leadership and business. She is fluent in Japanese and proficient in both English and Hindi, allowing her to navigate multicultural environments with ease. Her leadership style is collaborative, yet decisive, making her both a supportive team player and a strong leader when required.

Sunita’s passion extends beyond business; she is deeply committed to promoting women’s empowerment. Through her ventures and social affiliations, she strives to create opportunities for underprivileged women, offering them pathways to financial independence and professional growth. Her mission is to empower women by providing them with the resources and platforms they need to succeed, helping to create a more equitable society. She believes where she is could not have been possible withour the support of her husband.
