NY, September 22, 2024, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli led an interactive session at the ‘Summit of the Future’ held at the United Nations headquarters in New York. This session was part of the 79th General Assembly of the UN.

After joining the opening session of the General Assembly, Prime Minister Oli chaired a discussion where ministers and representatives from different countries shared their thoughts on how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They talked about the challenges they face and discussed future plans for success.

During this time, UN Secretary-General António Guterres addressed the assembly, emphasizing the importance of global cooperation. The Nepalese delegation, including Prime Minister Oli, participated actively in the event.

Today, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to deliver a speech at the General Assembly. He will also hold meetings with other prime ministers and leaders from various countries to discuss important global issues and strengthen international partnerships.
