KATHMANDU, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday met with the mother and sister of Bipin Joshi, the Nepali national being held hostage by Hamas in Israel.

Joshi’s mother, Padma Joshi, and sister, Pushpa Joshi, who returned from Israel earlier this week, called on the Prime Minister in Kathmandu. Oli shared a photo of the meeting on Facebook, assuring that the government is leaving “no stone unturned” in efforts to secure Joshi’s release.

During their stay in Israel, the family—supported by the Nepali Embassy—met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the Speaker of the Knesset to advocate for Joshi’s safe release.

Oli reiterated the government’s full commitment to pursuing diplomatic channels to rescue Joshi.
