KATHMANDU, A landslide at Satkilo in Thakre Rural Municipality, Dhading, has once again blocked the Kathmandu–Mugling road section along the Prithvi Highway in both directions.

The latest slide occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, completely obstructing traffic, according to the District Police Office, Dhading. A similar incident had taken place at the same location the previous night.
Although vehicular movement briefly resumed after the first landslide was cleared, the route was closed again this morning due to another slide, said DSP Subash Hamal, Information Officer at the District Police Office.

Authorities have deployed dozers and workers to remove debris, and efforts are underway to reopen the highway.
