Usha Khadgi, born in Birgunj, Nepal, is a renowned figure in the Nepali entertainment industry, best known for her successful reign as Miss Nepal 2000.

Her journey to national fame began in 1999 when she participated in Miss Pokhara and earned the title of 1st Runner Up. In the year 2000 Usha entered the prestigious Miss Nepal pageant and emerged victorious, becoming the ninth Miss Nepal and the second woman from Birgunj to win this coveted title. Her achievement led her to represent Nepal at the global stage in the Miss World 2000 pageant, which was held in London.

Usha’s career expanded beyond pageantry into various media roles, showcasing her versatility and talent. She began her media journey as a radio jockey (RJ), working with popular stations like Image FM and Citizen FM, where she honed her skills as a presenter.

Her success on the airwaves paved the way for her to transition into television, where she worked with major networks like Nepal Television, Channel Nepal, and Nepal One. As both a program host and producer, Usha took on diverse roles, demonstrating her capability in producing and presenting engaging content. Currently, she is the host of the popular program “Aama” on News24 Television, where she continues to captivate audiences with her charm and eloquence.

For over 13 years, she has been running her own clothing brand, “Usha’s Stylish Collection,” which has become a well-known name in the fashion industry.
