LALITPUR, A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a tanker at Godawari Municipality-12, Thecho, on Saturday night.

Police said a tanker (Ba.3 Kha 2845) collided with a motorcycle (Province 2-059 Pa 6382), leaving the rider critically injured.

Died During Treatment

The victim, identified as 48-year-old Kamal Singh Thakuri, originally from Kailali and residing in Thecho, Lalitpur, was rushed to Patan Academy of Health Sciences but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Tanker Driver Arrested

According to police, the tanker driver has been taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.
