KATHMANDU, The price of gold increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the local market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 222,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also went up by Rs 55 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 2,685 per tola on Thursday, had stood at Rs 2,700 per tola on Wednesday.

In the international market, gold was trading at USD 3,746 per ounce on Friday.
